Pacific Light & Power, Inc. is a renewable energy project developer. The Company pursues utility-scale energy projects using existing systems, resources and technologies.

PLP was founded in 2007 on Kauai, Hawaii, where its principals reside. The Company is developing projects to sell electricity to island utilities burdened by their distinct and disconnected electrical grids. Depending on the technology, the projects can also address an island’s waste management issues and agricultural challenges. PLP can also sell power to government and private sector organizations with specific energy requirements the local utilities are unable to serve in a cost effective way.
